Taylor is great. She has a great personality she's super helpful with postpartum care along with Light housekeeping, cooking, and cleaning. She pretty much will do anything that's needed to help you and the baby feel comfortable.

I took Taylor’s Lactation and Childbirth class and she is super informative! I definitely recommend taking her classes! She is the best!

Taylor was highly recommended by a Midwife in town who had been helping me during my pregnancy with prenatal yoga!

When we hired Taylor, my husband and I knew close to nothing about childbirth, and very little about basic baby care since we didn’t grow up around babies much.

Taylor made it all flow so well and easy! She is just so enthusiastic and clearly passionate about what she does that she managed to pass that joy and confidence to us during our 6 (very long!) pre- and post-natal visits and 59648838383992 text messages that were exchanged along the way!

She always had a sparkle in her eyes when providing information to us throughout our pregnancy. She was truly able to empower us with easy-to-digest information so we could be the owners of our own decisions and capable of self-advocating during the pregnancy, labor, and even beyond, specially during the crucial and difficult first month after birth! She helped us so much but specially when we hit some very scary moments such as when we had a red flag in one of the very important blood tests during the second trimester and during birth since I had to be induced and had a very difficult labor (which lasted 25hrs in the hospital with A LOT of excruciating pain!). But Taylor was there with us along the way, helping us follow our goals, our plan and adapt to the reality at hand, while still being in control of what we wanted!

We are SO THANKFUL to Taylor, who managed to turn a first-time parents into a much more knowledgeable and self-determined couple who have been so happy with our son Fernando!

I highly recommend helping hands doula services. Taylor is incredibly kind, caring and compassionate about her job. She’s really helped me in the lactation department. She was so eager to be there for me, to talk to me, to show me how to get a good latch with my newborn when I had engorgement issues. She was eager to answer any and all my ?s my baby is now 1 month old and when I have any ?s I always go back to her. Thanks to all her help I have been able to continue to provide breast milk to my daughter, and strive at it enough to already have 300+oz saved in freezer. She’s very easy to reach, and she’s so patient. I wish I had known about her two weeks prior to giving birth to my daughter. If your looking for a doula helping hands is the one! Taylor is awesome. Reach out I promise you’ll be glad you did.

In 2021 I found out I was pregnant I knew one thing with absolute certainty, I was going to have a Doula. I was roughly 6-7 months pregnant when I found Taylor Davis (Helping Hands Doula Services LLC). I browsed her business website and really liked all of the information she had, and her pricing was affordable for me and my husband. I requested a meeting and within 48 hours we had something scheduled. She was very flexible with the time and place of the meeting which was very helpful with my husbands work schedule. After about 5 minutes I knew she was the person I wanted at my birth. Not only did we have a few core values in common, she very much came from the standpoint of “I am just along for the ride, whatever you want and feel comfortable with is what we’ll do” and I really liked that. I never felt uncomfortable asking her questions or for advice on what to do. She was always quick to respond and was very good at communicating if she would be unavailable for any length of time. All of my prenatal appointments were great, she helped educate me on things I hadn’t learned yet and we discussed different options that were offered during labor. She even helped me organize my sons room both before and after his birth. When I went in to labor she made it clear that when I was ready for her to come she was one call away. When I went to the hospital my husband called her and she was there within 10 minutes. By the time I got to the hospital I was 7.5cm dilated and unable to have any medication to ease the pains of labor. Taylor never left my side and did anything I asked and all the things we had discussed before hand to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. Once my son was born she stayed with us until we felt okay to be alone. She gave me space but also made sure to check in to make sure I was okay. After we went home from the hospital we scheduled my postpartum appointments and I cannot even begin to say how thankful I am that she was there. This is my first child and I thought I knew what I was doing and boy was I wrong. She held my hand along every step, tear, success, failure and worry. There are not enough words to describe how grateful I am for her. My husband was a huge supporter in all parts of my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum but only someone who has given birth before can truly understand the flood of emotions that come with becoming a mother. I could shout from the rooftops on how much I would recommend her as a Doula. She is a bright light in this world.

With all the admiration in the world,

Desiree
